The ABC’s of Renewable Energy

The ABC’s of Renewable Energy is a personal passion project created in collaboration with Mel Phillips and DG+ Design. As a designer working in the cleantech industry, I’m deeply committed to fostering environmental awareness and sustainability—especially among future generations. This illustrated book explores the alphabet through the lens of renewable energy and environmental stewardship, with each letter representing a key concept or theme related to our planet’s future.

The book features vibrant, imaginative illustrations that blend creative surrealism with educational storytelling. Emphasizing the natural beauty of plants, animals, and ecosystems, each page is designed to engage children visually while sparking curiosity about sustainability and climate action.

All illustrations began as concept sketches and were thoughtfully developed in Adobe Illustrator. My goal was to craft a visual language that stands apart from traditional children’s book styles—one that’s both visually striking and thematically resonant, encouraging young readers to connect with the natural world in a meaningful way.
